Mum Tribe Wellness – Relax and Replenish Yoga with Fiona Markmann

If you are feeling burned out then we have the perfect way to reset your mind. Fiona Markmann is a yoga teacher and mum who knows all too well the stress we are grappling with as mothers.
Join us as Fiona guides us through a relaxing yoga class tailor made for busy mums to wind down and reset after a busy day.
The class will cover a sequence of relaxing poses and work with tuning into the body and quieting the mind with some attention to breath work. We’ll aim to gently stretch and loosen any tension from the body and finish with a relaxation.
Suitable for all levels and abilities, modifications and variations offered for anyone with specific needs.
We’ll start and finish with a chat, feel free to have a nice cup of something warm and a cozy blanket close by.
I’m Fiona, a mum of two small boys and a yoga teacher. I found yoga in London 10 years ago and completed my teacher training in Yoga hub in 2019. I love to share with my students the benefits of yoga that I’ve found. There’s a saying ‘anyone who can breath can practice yoga’ I truly believe that a slow and steady progression makes all the difference, especially after all the physical and emotional changes following becoming a mother. I find yoga has really helped me and my students in creating a sense of stability and focus in these challenging times. There is a sense of community even if it’s just virtually at this time.
My weekly class schedule is Wednesday evening and Saturday morning on zoom. I like to keep these classes varied and focus on different areas of the body in order to add strength, stability and flexibility with a strong focus on alignment, good posture & breath awareness. After my class, I hope to leave you feeling lighter in your body, relaxed and more in tune body and mind.
