#mumtribefoodiefriday I’ve had a great response to this! I’m going to have lots of fun new features coming soon and what better way to kick them off than with a post all about fooooood 😍 . This week it’s all about breakfasts and are some nice weekend options for a tasty brunch! . First up is classic French toast with crispy bacon and blueberries. I hadn’t made it in years and it was EPIC! . It couldn’t be easier to whip up either, whisk two eggs and add a shake of cinnamon to the mix. Let your bread soak in the mixture and add your bacon to a hot pan. Fry until it’s cooked the way you like it, then add in your eggy bread. Once both sides are cooked pile it high and add some fruit and a drop of maple syrup. Heaven! . Another yummy brunch option is garlicy Blt (can you see a bacon theme here 😂) cook your bacon and pile into a bagel with lettuce, tomato and garlic sauce, I got this one in @tescoirl and I can’t get enough of it, plus I love these slim ones from @aldi_ireland because they aren’t too stodgy! . Last up has to be the equivalent of a hug in a bowl that I spotted on @leanmeanmomma. Make porridge as normal and while it’s cooking pop a banana, cinnamon and maple syrup in a pan. Cook until caramelised and pop on to your porridge. Even my two year old got in on action with that breakfast and the bowl was demolished in minutes! . Have a yummy breakfast idea? #mumtribechallenge “Tea or coffee” . I have a love affair with caffeine, there I said it! I’ve always been a staunch @barrysteagram drinker but I do like a super strong coffee in the morning to give me a boost for the day. And weirdly my tea can only have the tiniest amount of milk but my coffee could have a gallon in it and I’d be happy. 💁🏻‍♀️ . I’m incredibly picky about cups though, it needs to look good and somehow my cuppa tastes so much nicer when the cup looks good - is anyone else like this? I have loads of these @paulcostelloeofficial for @dunnesstores at home. Devastated when my husband chipped two of them but he has a knack of re-stacking the dishwasher after I’ve done it because apparently his way is better. . Half my ware is dented but sure im not going to argue if he wants to attempt some housework!! . What about you? I have to say I really agree with this statement. I work on mum tribe constantly and so when someone says I’m lucky they way things are going - I get what they mean but believe me it’s a juggling act to work, parent and live. .
